Dingwall is the County Town of Ross and Cromarty, a mere 12 miles away from the City of Inverness. Sitting at the head of the Cromarty Firth, Dingwall was made a Royal Burgh in 1226 and is an excellent base from which to visit many of the interesting parts of the east coast, the Black Isle and - to the west - the glens of the central Highlands. |
